Drop-shipping can add more processing time and room for error to your order.
Most of our competitors take your order, then forward it to a 3rd party, who then process’s, packs and ships your order for them. All these extra steps take extra time, not to mention room for error. Like the wrong item, the wrong color, the wrong size, etc. Or worse yet, the item is out of stock by the time the drop-shipper gets to your order. These are issues with drop-shipping. Don’t get us wrong, there are some benefits of drop-shipping…if you’re the seller! We don’t have these problems since we stock, pack and ship every item on our website. This means if you order from us, your order gets shipped by us, and shipped the same day (if ordered by our cut-off time). And if there is an issue, we take care of it, immediately.
Think about it. If you order from the other guys, by the time your order gets shipped, you could probably already be enjoying that same product if you would have ordered it from us.
Something else to think about. Since those guys don’t stock any product, that means they haven’t made any commitment to buy it either, but they expect you to make that commitment. It’s 4:20 Somewhere has made that commitment. We wouldn’t expect you to purchase anything that we wouldn’t purchase ourselves. That’s why we stock, own, stand behind and ship every single item available on our website.
So remember, drop-shipping is good for the dealer that drop-ships, and not so good for you, the customer.
