Verified ownerThis pipe was pretty neat for a reason that the website doesn't even mention. The mouth piece to the stem has always opened at the same circumference as the stem itself, with any other pipe that I've ever used. This guy however, starts to taper in a cone shape, about an inch before the end of the stem. Therefore the mouth piece circumference opening ends up being a lot smaller than the stem itself. This makes slow and steady cooling inhales much easier for those who just can't do it right with a regular stemmed pipe. It also makes it easier for a vet like me. I don't know why they all don't come this way.
